Position:  Regional Sales Manager

 

Territory:  Midwest

 

Reports to:  General Manager

 

 

Qualifications:

1. Minimum 10 years experience selling industrial metalworking filtration systems, machine tools or ancillary equipment for the       metalworking market.

2. Experience selling to OEM, Automotive and Non-Automotive, Bearings, Aerospace and other metalworking accounts in defined territory.

3. Thorough knowledge of industrial metalworking filtration processes and related equipment including filtration principals, hydraulics, pumps, flows, and electrical (PLC) control systems desired.

4. Working knowledge of metalworking and metal removal processes including grinding, milling, drilling and turning.

5. Experience with AutoCad and ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

6. Strong software experience including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

7. Excellent communication skills including verbal, written and presentations.

8. Able to work effectively with project engineers, service technicians, and customer service representatives.

9. Minimum four-year college degree or equivalent marketing, sales or industry training.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and promote sales and service of Hydroflow filtration products in the assigned territory.

2. Develop and maintain customer relationships with OEM’s, Distributors and end-users.

3. Work with Eriez Independent Manufacturer’s Sales Representatives in supporting projects identified by Representatives.

4. Provide technical assistance and training for OEM’s, Distributors, End-Users and Representatives.

5. Develop and maintain working and application knowledge of Hydroflow products .

6. Maintain thorough project files and regular communication with General Manager, Engineering, Service and other Eriez staff to successfully carry out responsibilities, including travel plans and call reports as required by General Manager.

7. Provide detailed and complete application spec sheets for project quoting .

8. Participate in the planning and setting of sales goals and forecasting for designated territory.

9. Extensive travel in assigned territory including frequent overnight trips.

10. Comply with Eriez policies, procedures and code of conduct.

 

Compensation – base salary plus commission, commensurate with experience and education

MECHANICAL ENGINEER

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Four year engineering degree with P.E. license.
• Six to eight years of experience in designing process equipment to API 650/620, familiar with ASME sect VIII, Div 1, ASME B 31.3 codes
• Perform hydraulic loss calculations for simple piping system.
• Managing small to medium sized industrial projects involving fabrication of tanks, supply of instruments and inspections.
• Proficient computer skills: MS Office and AutoCAD 2011, Inventor or other 3D software.
• Possess strong analytical, interpersonal and multitasking skills.
• Experienced in checking of P & IDs
• Good communication skills – both verbal and written. Fluency in English.
• Proficient in the preparation of specifications for mechanical equipment, such as: tanks, pumps, compressors, pressure vessels, material of construction, insulation and coatings.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform design/engineering calculations of process equipment - Tall cylindrical/ rectangular tanks supported on grade and above ground with accessories connected to tank shell.
• Handle small and medium-sized projects from quotation to supply stage.
• Independently work within an established project scope of work, schedule and budget.
• Prepare estimates of material quantities and directs preparation of drawings, bill of materials.
• Independently prepare data sheets, check drawings, bill of materials, check O & M manuals and documents for compliance to project requirements.
• Independently prepare vendor bids, evaluate vendor proposals and provide purchase recommendations.
• Coordinate with other discipline designers, engineers and customers.
• Visit vendors and project sites, conduct and co-ordinate inspections at sites.

PRESS BRAKE OPERATOR

 

REQUIREMENTS:

1.        Able to read and interpret complicated drawings and use basic shop math.

2.        Minimum of one (1) year sheet metal experience.

3.        Make simple layouts following drawings and sketches.

4.       Operate press brakes, rolls, nibblers and punch and have a working knowledge of tape controlled machine.

5.        Use miscellaneous hand tools necessary to perform sheetmetal work.

6.       Keep workstation and machinery clean and orderly.

7.        Perform other similar and related duties as assigned by supervisor.
